Getting to Mohill by Train
The Dublin Connolly – Sligo train stops at Dromod, some 8km from Mohill.
Getting to Mohill by car
Mohill is off the N4, between Longford and Carrick-on-Shannon.
Once in Mohill, follow the signs for Lough Rynn Castle.
If you get to crossroads at the centre of the down, go down the street so the Gala supermarket is on your left. You should come to the O’Carolan Monument. Follow the road to the right; you’ll soon pass Central Motors on your left (with car sales to your right). Start slowing down! Coolabawn House is about 100m farther on, across the road from the playground and Centra shop.
