Getting to Mohill by Train
The Dublin Connolly – Sligo train stops at Dromod, some 8km from Mohill.
Getting to Mohill by car
Mohill is off the N4, between Longford and Carrick-on-Shannon.
Once in Mohill, follow the signs for Lough Rynn Castle.
When you get to crossroads at the centre of the town, orient yourself so that the Gala supermarket is on your left and continue on. You should pass the O’Carolan Monument about 200m down the street. At the Y junction, follow the road to the right; in about 50m you’ll pass Central Motors on your left (with car sales to your right). Start slowing down! Coolabawn House is about 100m farther on, across the road from the playground and Centra shop.
